Here’s a clue as to what those strange ingredient names mean:
GLYCERIN HUMECTANT is naturally produced during the soap making process. Because glycerin is a natural emollient, and draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health, it cleanses without upsetting the skin’s natural pH balance.
SODIUM STEARATE is a natural fatty component (from vegetable oils).
SORBITOL is a glucose derivative occurring naturally in some fruits: used as a humectant (moisture retaining ingredient) and emoillent (skin softener) in cosmetics and soaps.
PROPYLENE GLYCOL is a derivative of natural gas. Propylene glycol is considered a safe and appropriate ingredient not just for cosmetic products, but also for ingested products like food and pharmaceuticals. It’s on the US Food and Drug Administration's list of ingredients which are Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) and is recognized by the World Health Organization as safe for use.
SODIUM LAURETH SULPHATE, a coconut oil derived cleanser; used as a foam booster in soaps, shampoos, toothpaste and other products.
STEARIC ACID is a saturated fat derived from vegetable oils, used to make the soap base firm and stable.
LAURIC ACID, a fatty acid derived from coconut oil, for additional emolliency.
SODIUM CHLORIDE is common salt

BORAGE OFFICINALIS SEED OIL A culinary herb, cold pressed in Australia, with a long history for promoting good health. Rich in GLA, this oil is reported to help both psoriasis and eczema. Borage oil is used only in the finest cosmetic creams and lotions.
HONEY A natural humectant and emollient with natural antioxidents used for centuries for its purported healing properties.
SHEA OIL Found in top-of-the-line products, Shea Oil gives an exotic feel so luxurious that once you experience it you may never want to be without it! Leaves a soft silky feeling while moisturizing your skin.
COCONUT OIL This additive not only brings greater lather to any soap but also leaves a dew-kissed softness that is beyond compare.
EMU OIL Hard to find but HONEYBABY SOAP has it! An exotic oil, Emu has many stories that claim its benefits. Pure Emu Oil is used by dermatologists and others treating skin rashes, burns, scars, and yes, even in therapeutic whirlpool baths. Leaves skin feeling like velvet!
*Fragrance oils (scents) are blends of aroma components that are created to smell like the real thing. Many of our fragrance oils are blended from essential oils, but because they are not guaranteed to be 100% essential oil they are called fragrance oils. All of our fragrance oils are cosmetic grade.
